A Little About My Services
I have been creating custom graphics for print for over 20 years. When I first started, a lot of the design work was made from wax and paper paste-ups shot onto film with a camera. Things have changed a lot since then! My work has been for commercial clients in fields such as construction and other contracting, retail and wholesale food service, legal services, and real estate.
I prefer to use Adobe design programs and am using the Creative Suite 5 set of programs. (This was the last year they made actual programs on disk that you can buy once instead of paying per month as a service.) My files are output in the design program used with additional PDF, JPG, PNG, EPS, or other formats as needed. Supporting image files as well as font are also included.
My web design services are basic HTML and CSS. I don't offer any more than those two code types at this time. I prefer to use design templates for new webpages. A design template makes it easy to update common elements across a whole website at one time, rather than updating each page individually. Changing menu items, colors, logos, etc. is a lot more manageable than a website without a template. My templates are HTML and CSS based using Dreamweaver as the design tool. My files are then compiled into a package for your website admin(s) to upload to your own server.
For project pricing I usually charge a flat rate, as I don't like to try and keep track of how many minutes I work on something. If an hourly quote is absolutely needed for billing I can provide one. My fees include any changes and corrections that need to be done to make the end product fit. I don't restrict the number of changes, unless it becomes too long and drawn out. (An additional fee may be assessed at that point but most people don't try to take advantage of the no change limits policy.)
Logos for real estate websites, signs, flyers, business cards, etc. I also am the webmaster for the GreatAlaskanHomes.com site. I update and expand its contents weekly.
These logo designs were also made vinyl cutting ready.
